Duties: The Department of Educational Administration at SUNY New Paltz invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position (open rank) starting in Fall 2013.
The primary responsibility of the position will be to teach courses, both on- and off-site. The successful applicant will also be expected to demonstrate and maintain a strong scholarly agenda, advise students, provide leadership for the Educational Administration department and contribute to the life and work of the department and the college.
Qualifications: A Ph.D. or Ed.D. in educational leadership or related field is preferred. Certification as a School District Leader (SDL), School Building Leader (SBL), or School District Business Leader (SDBL), experience as an administrator in a public school district, and college teaching experience are preferred. Candidates who bring diverse cultural experience and who are especially qualified to mentor and advise all members of our diverse student population are especially encouraged to apply.
