Duties: The Department of Economics at the State University of New York at New Paltz invites applications from broadly trained economists for a multi-year, full-time lecturer position, to begin Fall 2013.
Duties: The successful applicant will be expected to teach Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. Other courses may include American Economic Development (General Education), Money and Banking, and Economic Development of Latin America.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in economics required; exceptional ABD candidates with a firm completion date will be considered. Evidence of excellent teaching required. Preferred areas of interest include macroeconomics, microeconomics, American economic history, and Latin American economic development. Candidates who bring diverse cultural experience and who are especially qualified to mentor and advise all members of our diverse student population are especially encouraged to apply.
