Duties: The Mid-Hudson Migrant Education Outreach Program seeks responsible individuals who enjoy working with children and young adults. The program is housed at the State University of New York at New Paltz and serves migrant-eligible students and families in a six-county area. Opportunities are available in Orange, Ulster, and Dutchess Counties.
The part-time Tutor Advocate position involves providing academic support in home or school settings. Flexible daytime, evening, and weekend hours available.
Qualifications: Qualifications: HS Diploma or GED and reliable transportation required. Bilingual English/Spanish applicants with teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
Special Notes: Wages range from $9.50 - $12.50/hour based on applicants skills, education and experience. Additional information on the program can be found at www.newpaltz.edu/meop
