"Songs from Atlantis: Exploring a Jewish Music Archive from 1948," a presentation by Dr. Miriam Isaacs. Dr. Isaacs holds a doctorate in linguistics and has an extensive background as a scholar and educator, including sixteen years as Professor of Yiddish Language and Clture at the University of Maryland, College Park. She has also held a fellowship at the Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum on the Stonehill Collection. The presentation will take place in the Honors Center at 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7. |
