Fake Virus Warning

If you are prompted to install a program called VIRUS TRIGGER, STOP! This is malware which the Student Helpdesk cannot remove at this time.
This is FAKE anti-virus software...it is actually a virus! Do not install it! If you see something on your screen that might indicate that it is installing, unplug your Internet connection immediately and then call the help desk.

Help Desk Services

There is no charge for any of the services listed above for students who are currently enrolled in credit bearing classes at SUNY New Paltz.

Please note that if you are having a problem with the smart classrooms on campus (projectors, screens, etc...) you need to call Instructional Media Services at (845) 257-3630 or (845) 257-3639 at night (after 5:00 PM). The help desk cannot help you with problems relating to smart classrooms. We can ONLY help with problems pertaining to the computers (logging in, using software, network connectivity, etc...)

Do you have a comment or suggestion for the Student Help Desk or it's employees?
