As a non-profit organization, it has an educational mission that includes a collaborative partnership with SUNY New Paltz. The college's Environmental Task Force funds a joint Brook Farm / SUNY program in which the farm director speaks to classes and then hosts them for an educational experience at the farm. During the '06-'07 academic year this program tallied 150 student contacts.
