The Master of Arts in Art Studio program offers concentrated study in ceramics, metal, painting, printmaking and sculpture. The Master of Arts in Art Studio is a terminal degree whose professional goals are substantially different from those of the MFA degree. Admission into the MA and completion of some or all of the program's requirements does not insure continuation into the MFA program. A student enrolled in the MA who wishes to transfer into the MFA must request a faculty review after the completion of 12 credits in residence in the area of concentration, and be approved by the faculty for continuation in the MFA program.
The following degree programs will lead to a Master of Arts in Art Studio.
