Cory Mittenberg's paper, Bad Faith, Authenticity and Authority in Titus Andronicus, seeks to prove that existential attributes, Sartrean concepts of bad faith and authenticity, are largely responsible for the actions of Titus and Aaron the Moor within Shakespearean tragedy. Mr. Mittenberg's paper was presented at the 1st Annual Shakespeare Symposium at SUNY Buffalo in April 2004.
