Ms. Genyuk and Ms. Woehling presented papers as part of the panel: "Literature at Work: Using Literature-Based Writing Courses to Promote Social Change" at the prestigious CCCC Conference. Ms Genyuk's paper, "Identity, Conscience, and Social Action", described a post-secondary curriculum addressing issues of conformity, rebellion, and hegemony. Ms Woehling's paper, "Laugh 'Till It Hurts: Societal Implications of Comedy" detailed a curriculum for post-secondary students questioning why we laugh at others and at ourselves.
