Professors Rayburn, Bartholomew, and Vollmer traveled to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania with a group of students for the joint Northeastern (46th Annual) and North-Central (45th Annual) Joint Meeting of the Geological Society of America, March 20–22, 2011.
