Summer Field Trip Offered for High School Teachers

Dr. Vollmer offered a one-day field trip on July 9 entitled "The Geology of the Mid-Hudson Valley" as part of a Summer Program for High School Teachers at SUNY New Paltz, organized by the School of Science and Engineering.
The trip covered the bedrock geology from the Hudson River west, over the Shawangunk Mountains to the Catskill Mountains, and included stops at Minnewaska and at North-South Lake State Parks.
