Faculty & Staff

Our faculty members are experienced geologists and earth scientists, holding PhD degrees and involved in research and consulting as well as teaching. The department has a tradition of close interaction with students in teaching, advising, field trips, research, and department functions. Our support technician and secretary are vital to the smooth operation of our program, and are important resources for our students.

We encourage students to work closely with faculty members. Many students elect to work on research projects and present their results both to the students and faculty on campus, and at professional meetings.
