3D Scanning for Design for the Body Workshop

Lauren Slowik, Design Evangelist, Shapeways

Wednesday, March 30
1 – 3:30 p.m.

3D scanning allows you to import real-world objects into 3D software, alter them (scale them up or down, combine them with 3D models, remix them) and output them as 3D prints. In this workshop we will demonstrate a range of free and low-cost ways to scan objects and the human body, as well as strategies for designing for the body with this imported data. Prior CAD experience recommended.
