The days when SUNY New Paltz operated almost solely on state support are long gone. In fact, support from the New York State Government has dropped from 80 percent of the College operating budget in 2002 to barely 25 percent of the budget in 2012.
Thus, if SUNY New Paltz is to achieve its exciting goals – and we are determined to do so – we must ask our alumni and friends to help us achieve the margin of excellence we desire.
