1 REVIEW YOUR AID PACKAGE
- Review your financial aid awards on my.newpaltz.
- Your aid package will be based on New Paltz costs, but it's likely you will be packaged with the yearly maximum federal student loans (see chart below).
- If you are NOT packaged with maximum loans for the year and you require additional funds– submit this budget revision sheet to our office. We will then review your program costs to determine if you are eligible for more loan aid. We will make any necessary adjustments to your budget and we will notify you via email if you are eligible for more loan funds. Your parent may also be eligible to increase their Parent PLUS loan as well.
2 SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING*
Please submit the following documents to the Financial Aid Office in HAB 603. You could also fax the completed paperwork to (845) 257-3568 or mail them to 200 Hawk Dr, New Paltz, NY, 12561.
- Transfer of Credit Application found on the Registrar Website (submit to Records and Registration, and 1 copy to Financial Aid)
- Copy of Registration at other institution (must show you are registered for classes)
- Completed Consortium Agreement
- Copy of invoice or bill from other institution showing amount due (so we know how much of your aid to send to the other institution)
*You may also be required to take a Leave of Absence (see your academic advisor)
