Why do you think the Master of Fine Arts Metal program was selected by U.S. News & World Report as the number one metal/jewelry graduate program in the nation?

 

The program is the top in the country because it is strongly committed to advancing scholarship by generating new ideas and new knowledge within jewelry and metalsmithing. The faculty in the program have a unique way of instilling a deep sense of responsibility and community within their students. As a student in the program, you are expected to strive for excellence, as well as understand, synthesize and articulate a critical perspective in the field. As students, we thoroughly engage in research related to our own studio work and larger issues critical to the field.
