What does studying at New Paltz and in the United States mean to you?

It is amazing that I can study across the ocean when my parents couldn’t even go to Germany without a special permit. United States is a part of the Western culture, just like Poland, but being here helped me rediscover my European ancestry. New Paltz is a very safe and friendly community to study in. The cultural and ethnic diversity of the campus opened my eyes to many different perspectives and points of view. Overall, it’s a great experience – I’ve made great friends, met amazing and inspiring professors and learned that home is where your heart is, even if it’s half way across the world.
