Final examinations must be given in all courses, during the assigned time in the five-day period set aside for that purpose except for Freshman English and Basic Algebra, College Algebra, and Calculus 1. Requests by faculty for exemptions to the mandatory examination
rule must be approved by both the department chair and the faculty dean.

Classes that meet four days a week should use the MWF schedule. Classes that meet five days a week should use the TH schedule. Evening classes that meet one day a week have finals the same night.

EVENING SECTIONS MEETING ONCE A WEEK
Classes which meet once a week at 4:30 p.m. and after will have their final examinations on the evening the class regularly meets during the final examination week. All evening examinations will be held from 7:30-9:20 p.m. in the room where the class has met during the semester.

FRESHMAN COMPOSITION FINAL EXAM
The date for the final examinations in Freshman Composition One is Fri. May 9, 2008. Students are required to take the examinations on the scheduled day. Room assignments for the examinations will be announced in class.

Students who fail Composition will be required to adjust their Fall 2008 schedules to retake the course. Students making a Freshman Composition course change may do so in the Records and Registration Office, Haggerty Administration Building 19.

MATHEMATICS 152, 181, 193 FINAL EXAM
The common final examination for all sections of 64152 (College Algebra), 64193 and 64181 (Precalculus) will be given on Friday, May 9th, 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.

NOTICE TO ALL STUDENTS
When scheduling your classes for the semester, check the final exam schedule for each course you plan to take. Avoid scheduling classes that would give you more than two final examinations on any exam day.
