Invisible Children uses film, creativity and social action to end the use of child soldiers in Joseph Kony's rebel war and restore LRA-affected communities in central Africa to peace and prosperity. On Wednesday, October 10, the Roadies are coming to New Paltz. A group of college students, along with a Ugandan individual who has been personally affected by war, volunteer their time and travel around parts of the country spreading the story of Africa's longest running war. They use awareness and storytelling to try to end this conflict. Sammi, Jonathan, and Brittany are the Invisible Children Tri-State Roadie Team for the Fall Tour. There will be free pizza, raffles, and performances by Epic Glee. The event is free and open to the public.
