Ushio Shinohara will demonstrate his innovative "Boxing Painting" or his version of "true" action. Following the demonstration, Shinohara will give a talk about this work. This event is being held in conjunction with NYCAS 2012 at New Paltz and the exhibition "Shinohara Pops! The Avant-Garde Road, Tokyo/New York" at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art.
