Hudson Valley Writing Project's 2nd Annual Conference: "Educating English Language Learners in Early Childhood - Birth Through Age 8"

This second annual conference on the learning needs of young children, particularly English language learners, will take place at SUNY New Paltz on Saturday, May 10th.

Keynote presenter Dr. Eric Pakulak will provide essential information about the effects of experience on children's brain development. Offering new insights and practical recommendations, workshop leaders will also share successful teaching practices with daycare providers, teachers, social workers, and parents.
