SUNY New Paltz will host "Fukushima is Here...Now What?", which will discuss the ongoing dangers of the widespread radiation from Fukushima's destroyed reactors that continue to leak radiation into air and water worldwide.
A dialogue between the community and a panel of local experts and officials will discuss what is really happening in Japan now; how the radiation from Fukushima is affecting us locally and globally; the threat to our food and water supply; what we can do to protect ourselves and our families; and what we can do to stop the crisis.
