Tunnel of Oppression is an event where spectators witness various types of discrimination, hate, and oppression. Participants walk through a room and witness skits that are centered on prevalent issues of hate that affect our society today. After, participants are required to partake in a group-processing forum, which is hosted by SUNY New Paltz’s Psychological Counseling Center.

The goal of this event is to get people to not only remember that many of these issues still plague our society, but that we all have a duty to speak up, out, and against any form of oppression that we see.
