The Science and Skepticism 101 workshop is your introduction to the skeptical community. If you are a new to the movement, or need to brush up on the basics, you will leave the workshop knowing the ins and outs of modern scientific skepticism. No prior knowledge of skepticism is assumed and only a rudimentary interest in science is needed. This workshop will answer the following main questions: What is Science? What is Pseudoscience? What is Skepticism? How Do We Practice Skepticism? The two-hour workshop will consist of a main lecture, demonstrations, a question and answer period, and resources for navigating the modern skeptical movement. If you are new to skepticism or want to learn more, the Science and Skepticism 101 workshop is for you.
