FALL 2009 EVENTS

 

Event: Woodbury Commons Trip

Date: Sunday Oct. 11

Time: 12:00 noon and return at 18:00

Information:

A shopping trip to a discount shopping mall has been scheduled for Sunday, October 11. The buses will leave SUNY New Paltz at 12:00 noon and return at 18:00. Cost will be $10, payable in cash at sign up. Sign up will be in VH Annex 250 and you can stop by any time that the office is open, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m

 This is a good time to get a winter coat, sweaters, boots or gifts from family and friends at home. There is a Columbus Day sale that weekend – follow the link below for a list of shops and start your planning.

Event: Movie Night (movie TBD)

Date: Monday, October 19th

Time: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Place: CIP (for all students)

 Information:

Come watch a movie at the Center for International Programs; bring a friend, a roommate or a conversation partner.

 

Event: Halloween Party

Date: Friday, October 30th

Time: 2:00-4:00

Place: VH Annex 4th floor GYM

Information:

We will have music, candy, cookie and, of course, pumpkins!!!!

And also face painting and pumpkin painting and contests too!!!

 

Event: Thanksgiving Dinner Party

Date: Wednesday, November 18th

Time: 2:00-4:00

Place: Terrace

Information:

 Come and enjoy some traditional Thanksgiving food and learn about this holiday!

 

Event: End-of-Semester Party

Date: Friday, December 4th

Time: 2:30-4:30

Place: Terrace

Information:

Please join us to celebrate the end of the semester on Friday December 4th at The Terrace from 2:30- 4:30pm. We will have refreshments, music, singing, games, and holiday cheer.  Let's celebrate with those who are graduating, say goodbye to those who are leaving, and congratulate all of you for surviving the semester!
