* Prices and dates are estimates, based on current information.
*Living expenses are the prices for on-campus housing in residence halls; 2 students per room and full meal plan (19meals/week). New students are encouraged to live on-campus their first term. The university does not provide assistance with off-campus housing.
*All students pay an orientation fee in their first semester of enrollment; cost for spring 2008 is $120. (No fee for summer)
*Each student must have personal health insurance meeting our standards. Health insurance purchased at New Paltz costs about $400 per semester ($160 for summer).
*Not included are personal expenses such as textbooks and school supplies, personal entertainment and travel.
Students in the advanced levels of the program may enroll concurrently in 1-2 academic courses at the University; charges for those courses follow standard SUNY New Paltz tuition fees (and concurrent enrollment reduces the full class fee for ESL coursework)

INFORMATION FOR PART-TIME studies - (for students living in the US and not using a student visa issued by SUNY New Paltz. Anyone with a student visa issued by our school must be enrolled full-time.)
Fall 2008 and spring 2009:
Class fee per “RU” (credit units for our program): $320
(Reading/writing is 6 RUs. Other courses are 3, 4 or 6 RUs.)
College fees per “RU”: $32
Technology fee: $158 per student.
Example:
Student enrolling in one 4-RU class such as Grammar or Listening-speaking:
4 X $320 = $1280
4 X $32 = $128
Tech. fee = $158
Total = $1566
For Summer 2009: “RU” cost is estimated to be $215; For Fall 2008 and Spring 2009: “RU” cost is $320.
