Each trip that requires a fee payment has a deadline for payment and for refunds. Unless otherwise stated, the refund deadline is three full days before the trip begins.
The refund policy is necessary because the Center for International Programs and the Haggerty English Language Program are required to commit payment to all service providers (bus companies, entertainment providers such as museums, etc.).
- If Center for International Programs or the Haggerty English Language Program cancels a trip, all paid participants will receive a refund.
- If a participant cancels their trip BEFORE the refund deadline, s/he will receive a refund. The refund may take 2-3 weeks to process.
- If a participant cancels their trip AFTER the refund deadline, for any reason, no refund will be issued.
- If a student cancels their participation after the refund deadline, the student may find another student to take his/her place. Both the student and the "replacement" come to the office to notify staff of the change, and a direct exchange of payment can be made.
