Each trip that requires a fee payment has a deadline for payment and for refunds. Unless otherwise stated, no refund will be given to a student unless international programs cancels the trip.
The refund policy is necessary because the Center for International Programs and the Haggerty English Language Program are required to commit payment to all service providers (bus companies, entertainment providers such as museums, etc.).
- If Center for International Programs or the Haggerty English Language Program cancels a trip, all paid participants will receive a refund.
- If a student cancels their participation, the student may find another student to take his/her place. Both the student and the "replacement" come to the International Student Programs office in VH Annex 250 to notify staff of the change, and a direct exchange of payment can be made.This must be done 48 hours before the event, since rosters may need to be faxed to locations and transportation companies.
