Stream Bioassessment Workshop a Success

07/08/2009

Hudson Basin River Watch (HBRW) and the Center for Research Regional Education and Outreach’s (CRREO) Regional Well-Being project (RWB) organized a 3 day Stream Bioassessment workshop to train individuals on stream monitoring methods.  Trainees included representatives from CRREO’s RWB, instructors, and students, as well as other interested higher education representatives from colleges and universities in the four-county project area, including Sullivan, Ulster, Orange and Dutchess Counties.

The purpose of the RWB project is to create a sustainable vision for the region, and identify and measure key indicators of social, economic and environmental sustainability for a four-county region in the Hudson Valley, including Dutchess, Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster Counties.
