Environmental Geochemical Science Story

Ideal Location for Collaborative Research Projects for EGS Students

EGS faculty and students have been collaborating with Daniel Smiley Research Center of Mohonk Preserve to solve different environmental issues of the Preserve. One of the projects dealt with the evaluation of Water Quality of Marakill watershed which primarily depends on Rock-Water interaction.


Students getting feedback about the research area from Mr. John E. Thompson, Natural Resources Specialist, Mohonk Preserve.
