Teaching Interests
Jan Zlotnik Schmidt,a SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor, teaches courses in composition, autobiography, creative writing, American literature, women’s literature, and Holocaust studies.
Publications
Her poetry has been published in many journals including Kansas Quarterly and Cream City Review. She has published two volumes of poetry; two collections of autobiographical essays; and collaborated on a multicultural, global literature anthology, Legacies: Fiction Poetry, Drama, Nonfiction which is in its fourth edition.
