H. R. Stoneback, Distinguished Professor of English, is a leading Hemingway scholar, author/editor of twenty-three books and some 200 articles on Durrell, Faulkner, Hemingway, Roberts, Warren et al.

He is a widely published poet and author of eight volumes of poetry. Recent books include Reading Hemingway’s The Sun Also Rises, Hemingway’s Paris, Des Hymnagistes, and Voices of Women Singing.
