Stella Deen’s research focuses on early twentieth-century non-canonical novelists and on cultural struggles to identify categories of readers, analyze and shape their tastes, and reach them in forums such as magazines and anthologies. Joann K. Deiudicibus is the Staff Assistant for the Composition Program. Joann teaches Composition I and II, and is an active member of the Poetry Board. Her interests include composition and rhetoric, creativity and mental illness, and twentieth century American poetry, particularly the work of Anne Sexton. She is the Associate Editor (poetry) for WaterWrites: A Hudson River Anthology celebrating the Hudson 400.
