Elementary Education Course Descriptions

EED380 Teaching Mathematics, Science and Technology in Elementary School

In this course students will learn about principles and methods regarding the teaching of mathematics, science, and technology in elementary school. Special emphasis is given to the New York State Learning Standards for Mathematics, Science, and Technology and the connectedness of these disciplines.

  • Must be enrolled in the following level: Undergraduate
  • Must be enrolled in one of the following field(s) of study (major, minor or concentration): Childhood Education 1-6 (630), Early Childhood & Chld Ed B-6 (601)
  • May not be enrolled in the following class: Freshman

  • (EED375 Minimum Grade of B-) and (EED301 Minimum Grade of S) and (EED371 Minimum Grade of B-)
