2008 Spring Schedule
New students who will attend class for Spring 2008 should plan to arrive at JFK International Airport in New York City on Friday, January 18. We will arrange for transportation to New Paltz for those who arrive during designated time periods arranged in advance between campuses.
The first day of classes for Spring 2008 is Wednesday, January 23 and the last day for Spring 2008 semester is Saturday, May 17.
2008 Summer Schedule
Classes will meet Monday through Thursday each week. Fridays will be available for study sessions as well as free time. Activities will be scheduled most weekends.
New students should plan to arrive at JFK International Airport in New York City on Thursday, May 22, 2008.
New student orientation will take place Friday, May 23, 2008.
Undergraduate graduation will be held on Sunday, May 18 at 10:00 am. If you wish to participate in the ceremony, you should plan to arrive on Saturday, May 17. You can check into the hall on May 17 for an additional charge ($110), but there will be no meal service available until May 23.
Returning students can check in to the residence hall on Sunday, May 25, 2008.
Transportation from JFK to New Paltz will be arranged on these three dates (5/17, 5/22, and 5/25). Transportation will not be provided and you cannot check into the residence halls on other dates.
The first day of classes for Summer Session I, 2008 is Tuesday, May 27. The first session concludes on Monday, June 30.
The first day of classes for the Summer Session II is Monday, July 7. The second session concludes on Friday, August 8. Residence halls will close on Saturday, August 9.
You should plan to depart from JFK International Airport on Saturday, August 9.
