CAMPUS ACTIVITIES TAKING PLACE THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER

Piano Summer Concert Series
PianoSummer is an international summer institute and festival dedicated solely to piano music. It features an integrated approach to learning and performance under the artistic direction of master pianist and teacher Vladimir Feltsman. Gifted students from around the world join with devoted musicians and teachers to learn more about the art of the piano and, ultimately, more about themselves and their place in the world of music. In recitals and performances throughout the summer, the New Paltz community joins the PianoSummer celebration, culminating in the Festival Gala performance.

New Paltz Summer Repertory
The New Paltz Summer Repertory is a center of excellence for SUNY New Paltz and a major center for theatre arts in the Mid-Hudson Valley. Not only does it draw audiences from near and far, but it also fills the role of a community-based theatre company by casting actors from throughout the region. Since its opening in 1973, Summer Rep has developed into what critics have called "the best summer theatre in the Hudson Valley." Over the years many of its productions have been named among the 'top ten' theatre offerings in the region. Each summer the professional quality productions regularly attract over 5,000 people from New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
