All submissions must be postmarked no later than July 2, 2004. A $45 application fee (payable to SUNY New Paltz) must accompany each score. The composer's name should not appear anywhere on the score or tape recording. The title of the work should appear on an envelope containing the following information: composer's name, address, telephone number, date and place of birth, composition title, instrumentation, and duration of the work. A signed statement that the entry is an original work and meets competition guidelines is required as well as assurance that the entrant will provide easily legible orchestral parts upon request and forward them free-of-charge. A tape recording, labeled with the title of the work, may accompany the entry.
