Trapeze!
Trapeze classes are offered weekly at the Stone Mountain Farm in New Paltz for $40. For more info, visit www.trapezeclub.org or call (845) 658-8450.
Swim
The Ulster County Pool is a great place to spend a warm afternoon. Located on Libertyville Road in New Paltz, the fee is $3.50 for residents and $7 for visitors. For more info, call (845) 255-7027
Located in Minnewaska State Park, Minnewaska Lake is another great place to swim. Located on route 44/55 in New Paltz, swimming is free but there is a parking and entrance fee of $7.
Climb, Bike & Hike
The Mohonk Preserve is a great place to hike and rock climb. If you don't know how to rock climb, there are a number of schools in the area that teach all levels. For more info, visit www.gunks.com.
In addition, the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail is a great place to hike or walk.
Celebrate
The Ulster County Fair is located at the Ulster County Fairgrounds from 8/2-8/7 and costs $12 per person.
