‘Tis the season of all nighters. As the semester is drawing to a close, finals are right around the corner. Your fellow classmates are probably just as stressed out as you are. Here are a few ways to shake away the stress:
- Hit up the gym or attend a Yoga class. Work all the tension out. Not only will your mind be clearer, your body will be benefiting from it too.
- Make a ‘to-do” list and prioritize all that you need to get done. Don’t put too much on your plate – break things down by days, chapters or sections.
- Take study breaks. For every hour of studying you do, take 10-15 minutes to relax to prevent burning out.
- Get a full night sleep. Eight hours is recommended, but only you know how much sleep your body needs.
- Don’t let work, school, and various organizations take over your life. It’s important to find balance – it’s okay to take a break!
There are only a few more weeks left in the semester and they will be over before you know it. Hang in there and good luck!
