** Fall 2008 Catalog will be available in July.

The Lifetime Learning Institute (LLI) at the State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz is an all-volunteer organization that seeks to provide quality learning opportunities at a minimum expense to older adults. LLI offers its members the perfect venue in which to explore new topics, share their interests and experiences, and stimulate new ideas through non-credit courses, scheduled trips and workshops.

The Institute is part of the Elderhostel Institute Network, an association of approximately 1000 campus based programs that recognizes the demonstrated enthusiasm of older adults for learning, sharing their knowledge and interests, and socializing with like-minded people.

Working in collaboration with the Center for Continuing and Professional Education on the SUNY campus, LLI will offer select classes in fall and spring semesters. Special speakers' programs and off-campus tours are also planned. Members are encouraged to actively participate in study, discussion and the operation of the Institute.

Membership in the LLI is open to older adults; there is no geographical resident requirement.  LLI courses are available to any LLI member.

If you have any questions, please call (845) 257-2892.
