Facilities Space Utilization Master Plan
Last Updated: Friday, November 20, 2009
DESCRIPTION AND BACKGROUND:
A building condition assessment is being conducted campus wide to determine the state of our facilities. In addition, a programmatic review of the entire campus is needed to analyze the spatial needs and programmatic requirements in relation to each program. This assessment will help to serve as a guide to address how the college uses the space that currently exists and how to plan for the space that the college will need in the future.
UPDATES:
A committee comprised of representatives from a diverse cross section of the campus community has been formed. The committee is co- chaired by John Shupe, associate vice president of Facilities Management and James Schiffer, dean of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. Interviews with various department heads to gather and review information on programmatic needs have been taking place.
