DESCRIPTION AND BACKGROUND:
Improvements and equipment are needed to prevent deterioration to the plant structures and upgrade equipment for increased energy efficiency. Existing motors, pumps and valves need replacement since they are past their useful life limits. Structural renovations to be done due to door and windows that have been damaged along with brickwork and painting. Upgrades in lighting to T5 type and energy recovery systems will be incorporated in this work to align plant operations to the requirements of the state mandated regulation and directives for energy reduction.
UPDATES:
C&S Engineers have completed a program report which has been reviewed by the campus and a scope has been approved. The design had been reviewed and approved and documents for bidding are now in progress. The project will be ready for bidding in early spring.
