Let Your Android do the Driving.
01/28/2011
Recently our student Justin McCoy wrote an Android app that lets the user drive a Scribbler robot using an Android phone.

Justin uses the accelerometer on the phone to sense the phone's position and uses the phone's position to determine what kind of instruction to send to the robot – move forward, backward, slow, fast, to the right or to the left.
Justin had to write his own Bluetooth interface code for the Scribbler and it took a lot of testing. If you would like to look at this cod you can view it on code.google
Here is a short video showing the phone at work.
