December Pizza Party

12/17/2010

The Computer Science Department recently held a Pizza Party to wish everyone a Happy Holidays and kick-start the organization of a revitalized Computer Science Club within the department.

We had a very good turnout and the pies didn't last long.

The NPACC (New Paltz Agile Computing Club) is all set to go in the spring once classes start. It is submitting the necessary paper work to the Student's Association to become officially recognized.

It wasn't all business and we were very happy to see so many smiling faces beginning with Christine X

Christine Mikijanic, all smiles

None of these activities would happen without the help of Leslie Masker, the departmental secretary.

Gareth Clyne (with glasses) is one of the prime movers in the rejuvenation of the Computer Science Club. If you have any questions contact him.

Eager to hear what Gareth had to say were some of his friends

Duncan, John, Caleb and Travis

Edwin Lopez joined us but seems not to like the pizza

Among the people coming to the party was Yanzhao Yang, one of our teaching assistants.

It is totally unfair of me but here is a picture of someone who really knows his way around a pizza – Prof. Easwaran. You should drop by his office and see our new helicopter.
