New Paltz's First Android Market App
08/31/2010
In May of this year Jimi Hite, finishing his second year, dropped by my office on his way home for the summer. “What can I do over the summer?”, he asked. “Create an Android App.” I said.

Last week, two days before classes started, having not heard from him all summer, Jimi came into my office and said “Take a look at this.” He had created an Android app that let people see all the menu items of all the restaurants in New Paltz. He had in mind, the returning students and students who would soon be coming to New Paltz for the first time.
Jimi posted his app on the Android Market and you can download it from there or by finding one of the posters he has put up on campus that lets you download apps using a free BarCode Scanner App that many people have on their phones.
