Obtaining Tickets

If the candidate wishes to participate in the Undergraduate Ceremony they must register at my.newpaltz.edu.  Registration begins Wednesday, October 8th and ends Sunday, November 9th, 2008.  Remember, your Application for Graduation it does NOT register you for the ceremony. 

Each candidate may request up to four (4) guest tickets.  Candidates must go to my.newpaltz.edu to request guest tickets by the Sunday, November 9th, 2008 deadline.  If the candidate misses the registration deadline, there will be no tickets available for their guests.  Only guests with tickets will be allowed into the reserved seating area. 

If the candidate registered for guest tickets, he/she may pick them up at a Commencement rehearsal. Candidates picking up tickets must provide their online confirmation code and one photo ID. If someone other than the candidate is picking up the tickets, that individual will need photo ID and a signed note from the candidate with their confirmation code.

The rehearsals are the only time tickets will be distributed before the day of the ceremony.  If the candidate is unable to attend a rehearsal, tickets will be available to be picked up by the family the morning of the ceremony at the Will-Call table located in the lobby of the Athletic & Wellness Center, an hour before the scheduled ceremony start time.

No tickets will be distributed by the Commencement Office at other times

Make sure to plan ahead.  If your candidate picks up the tickets they must make sure to give the tickets to the guests before the day of the ceremony.
