Career History
She has been on the SUNY New Paltz faculty since 1996. Professor Bower has a variety of clinical experiences with infants, children, and adults with a wide range of disabilities.
Teaching Interests
Ms. Bower teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses including: Introduction to Communication Disorders, Language Development in Children, Disorders of Child Language, Dysphagia, Early Intervention, Pragmatics and Language/Literacy Development.
Research/Creative Activity
Her special interests are literacy, language development, early intervention, pragmatics and swallowing disorders.
