Career History
Dr. Stella Turk is Associate Dean of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Coordinator of the Post-Baccalaurette Program in Communication Disorders and Coordinator of the Deaf Studies Minor. Her first appointment at New Paltz was in 1995.
Teaching Interests
She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in audiology and aural rehabilitation and supervises clinical practica
Research/Creative Activity
Her special interests are universal infant screening, diagnostics, program and curricula development. Dr. Turk developed the universal infant screening program at Vassar Brothers Hospital, the Post BA program in CMD, the Deaf Studies minor and several and online and hybrid courses.
