How to Apply to the Graduate Program

Applications for Communication Disorders Graduate Programs are considered for fall admission only. In addition to the materials and steps required by the Office of Graduate & Extended Learning, a proctored writing sample and an interview are required for the Communication Disorders graduate program. After you have completed the Office of Graduate & Extended Learning's application steps and requirements, then you may be contacted by the Communication Disorders Department regarding the writing sample and interview.

 

Time Line (some dates may be subject to change):

October 25: Application for fall admission available online
February 1: Applications must be complete (all materials received by the Office of Graduate & Extended Learning) in order to be considered
March 3-5: First round interviews conducted at New Paltz
March 16: Candidate acceptance of first round offer due
March 31-April 2: Second round interviews conducted at New Paltz
April 11: Candidate acceptance of second round offer due
April 15: All final decisions made and final statuses posted online
