LA&S Dean's Fund Purpose and Needs:
- To support faculty awards for excellence in teaching, scholarship/creative activity, and service
- Seed money for experimental courses, especially team-taught interdisciplinary courses and courses that employ cutting-edge technology
- Stipends to help students on unpaid internships (to help with transportation and other living expenses)
- Support to bring speakers to campus and to support on-campus conferences
