Chemistry major Kathleen Westervelt and Biology major Adam Rimawi presented their research on the characterization of aggregates formed between oligonucleotides and a surfactant at the 57th Annual Biophysical Society Meeting in Philadelphia, PA. Both students received funding for the research through an AYURE award (academic year undergraduate research experience) and travel to the conference was funded through RSCA and the Student Association.
